“Stayed 2 nights before Memorial weekend and enjoy speaking with the two people overseeing the hotel, in fact I had more conversations with them in two nights than I did in the 35 years with the previous owners. They have security cameras and number keyed locks. We were still able to charge the battery on the boat overnight. Love this place! Price was better than previous. I would not go to the other two hotels in town.”

“Really nice hotel run by great people. We have stayed here for the last 10 years as a half-way point on our annual spring Canada fishing trip. This hotel is ideally suited for this service as it's about an hour from the border so you can get there well before there is a huge backup at Canadian customs. Rooms are fine and good local dining at the Dam Restaurant.”

“I really like this place! Rooms are nice and clean! Roomy with a mini fridge/freezer and a microwave. Coffee (along with creams, sugar, and coffeemate flavored little creamers), water, bottled Sunny D and some other little drinks, plus packaged snacks like granola bars and various packaged breakfast pastries in the lobby. Beds are really comfortable and linen is clean/crisp. Bathroom has a full tub and nice shower. There is a big loud train that comes through several times a night/early morning right across the street. Blows the horn and I didn’t even hear it! You can hear other guests in the hallway and if they slam the doors but that’s any motel/hotel. Awesome and not that expensive! Already made my 2025 July 4th reservations!”

“We fell into this motel completely by chance. The rooms are extremely clean, it’s a great place to get a good nights sleep and the breakfast was perfect. Great coffee. You fell sort of like part of the family. When we pass through Orr again we will definitely stay again.”
